The show combined his biggest hits with a cover of “Ordinary,” elevated by the striking presence of MEGA-LITE’s Circa Giant fixtures bringing a bold, retro-inspired aesthetic to a modern stadium production.

The Circa Giant features a distinctive circular design with multiple light sources, including a warm tunable white center sphere; an octagonal heatsink with LED clusters, and an RGB pixel-mapped outer ring, all complemented by white LEDs illuminating a gold reflective scoop for a classic tungsten feel.

The circular stage structure, combined with the moving light trusses, created a design challenge early in the process for lighting designer Kevin Northrup. Initial renderings revealed a large 48-foot-wide open space above the stage that appeared as a dark void, especially from the camera angles positioned in the pit. To resolve this, the goal became to create a “ceiling of light” that would visually complete the stage. Traditional options such as PAR can trusses were considered but would have required complex cabling and focusing, while scenic elements like inflatable spheres did not align with the desired aesthetic. Seeking a warmer, tungsten-inspired look, the solution came from the Circa Giant, a fixture that offered both the scale and visual character needed. Having previously seen it at LDI 2024, its distinctive design and presence made it a natural fit for the concept.

Special Event Services, a Concert Stuff Group company, provided the Circa Giants fixtures for this year’s tour. Michael Brammer, CSG’s Chief Strategy Officer, has been working with Kevin and Luke's team to provide the best possible experience for the fans.

When asked about performance of the Circa Giant, lighting designer Kevin shared:
“I was thoroughly impressed with the fixture's output. They can easily create big looks on their own. I also appreciate the individual elements along the central reflector and the outer ring. There are enough individual instances to create dynamic effects, but not too many to increase processing, output and cabling needs. I programmed the show on the GrandMA3. These fixtures are very easy to program.”
